Trauma Therapy

When an event or series of events interrupt our lives leaving us lacking control, we enter survival mode even after these events have ended. This may leave persons emotionally and physically reexperiencing the past. Trauma therapy seeks to slow the world down and interrupt survival behaviors.  The goal is to remain present in order to grieve the past and prepare for the future.
